We have been having lots of fun with marbles. We were using them for painting. We put our page in the box, chose our colours and poured in the paint. We then got our marbles and rolled them around the box to create our masterpiece.
We also had the chance to play with the ‘Marble Run’. We built lots of different marble runs and watched the marbles make their way to the bottom. It was Marbulous. Take a look at the pictures.

We had a craft fair in the hall where all the classes got to display their crafts they had been working on. We made ‘Headers’, first of all we made the stuffing by scrunching up newspaper into a ball. We then put the material around it and tied it with an elastic band. We got to decorate them to make our very own ‘Header’.We enjoyed our visit to the hall to look at all the fantastic work by all the other children.

We have been learning about different types of bugs. We found out that insects have six legs. We learned about their homes and went to the garden where we found lots of them. The bees were busy flying around the fruit trees, the slugs and woodlice were under the wooden planks and the ladybirds were on the green leaves. We used our bug viewers and magnifying glasses to take a closer look. Have a look at some of the pictures.
